10:00 am - The New Overtime Regulations: Impact and Strategies for Small Business

The new “EAP” or “white collar” regulations are poised to take effect December 1st. Employers are preparing now to develop strategies to calculate the impact and make modifications to their compensation plans. What will you do? When? How? For whom? On June 23rd, Ms. Walters testified before the US House Committee on Small Business to address the impact the new regulations will have particularly on small business and non-profit organizations. Join this interactive presentation as she shares at least seven strategies for responding to the new regulations plus opportunities for legislative advocacy to delay or modify implementation of the new rule.
